MAJORITY OF GIANT FOOD STORES WILL CLOSE BY 9 P.M. TONIGHT Baltimore-area stores to close by 7 p.m. due to blizzard-like conditions; All stores will open tomorrow morning at 6 a.m.

In order to ensure the safety of our customers and associates, Giant Food of Landover, Md. will close the majority of our 180 stores in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware by 9 p.m. tonight. Baltimore-area stores will close by 7 p.m. due to blizzard-like conditions. However, stores in southern Virginia will operate according to normal business hours. Visit www.giantfood.com for specific information about the operating hours of your neighborhood Giant.

Customers who need to fill a prescription at a Giant pharmacy are urged to visit www.giantfood.com for specific information about pharmacy operating hours. However, all Giant Food pharmacies will be closed as of 7 p.m.

Giant associates have been working around the clock to keep our stores as well stocked as possible during this record snowstorm. All Giant stores will open at 6 a.m. on Thursday for business and operate according to their regular store hours.
